RAM 1500 service

Getting regular maintenance on your RAM 1500 pickup is one of the best ways to ensure that you’re getting the best performance, safety, and efficiency out of your truck. Here at Woodhouse Chrysler Jeep® Dodge Sioux City, our team of RAM 1500 service experts recommends sticking to a maintenance schedule.

The following is what the manufacturer recommends for RAM 1500 maintenance.

Though you should bring your truck to our Sioux City, IA RAM dealership anytime you’re noticing anything out of the ordinary, scheduled maintenance is different. Even if everything is performing well, at certain intervals, you should have an expert look at your vehicle.

The first recommended mileage amount is 8,000. Here is what we’ll look at during this time:

  • Oil change
  • Oil filter change
  • Tire rotation

At 20,000 Miles

  • Front suspension inspection
  • Tie rod end inspection
  • Brake lining inspection

At 30,000 Miles

  • Engine air filter replacement
  • Front/rear axle surface inspection
  • Transfer fluid case inspection
  • CV/universal joints inspection

At 60,000 Miles

  • Automatic transmission fluid replacement
  • Automatic transmission filter replacement

At 100,000 Miles

Remember that when you get RAM service as part of your recommended service schedule, it is important that it is completed by trained Mopar mechanics who only use OEM parts.

You’ll find that at Woodhouse Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and you can even schedule an appointment right here on our website.

We look forward to ensuring that your RAM 1500 truck continues to run just as it was intended.
