Power and Performance

The Jeep® Gladiator has a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, but an 8-speed automatic is available. The other option is a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 EcoDiesel® engine that generates 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.

This engine comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission. While this Jeep pickup truck is more than capable on paved roads, it really shows its mettle on more interesting terrain.

 

Off-Road Capability

Every Jeep Gladiator comes with 4-wheel drive, enhanced front and rear axles, and a 2-speed transfer case. If you go with the Mojave trim, you will also get heavy-duty Fox shock absorbers, along with 11.6 inches of ground clearance.

For the best off-road experience, pick the Rubicon. This comes with locking front and rear differentials, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and an electronic disconnecting sway bar.

 

Towing and Hauling

The new Jeep Gladiator is no slouch in the towing and hauling department. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 7,650 pounds and haul up to 1,700 pounds.

Plus, its 5-foot bed has low rails and a bumper step, making it easy to get things in and out. A 115-volt power outlet is also standard.

 

Interior

Five people will fit quite comfortably in the 2-row Jeep® Gladiator. Cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats are standard. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel are also available. This new Jeep comes with several standard tech features, such as:

  • A 5-inch touchscreen
  • Satellite radio
  • An 8-speaker sound system

Safety
