Your Warranties Protect the Long-Term Value of Your Investment

When you purchase a new or CPO vehicle, it comes with warranty coverage. Many shoppers aren't sure about the difference between the powertrain and bumper-to-bumper warranties. It is essential to follow the car's recommended maintenance schedule to keep these warranties in force for as long as possible.

The powertrain warranty, which runs for a longer period of time, covers all essential functions of the engine, transmission, and drivetrain. This includes the cost of service as well as parts. A bumper-to-bumper warranty runs for a shorter time and covers these and all other aspects of car ownership. There are exceptions, such as windshield wipers, light bulbs, and brake pads. On new cars, tires generally have a separate one-year warranty.
